The Company

Based in the mid-west of the USA, this client of a Prevue HR consultant has 135 employees engaged in the business of creating high end photo albums for consumers. Their website acts as a storefront where customers create an account and send in their digital photos. The company offers various types and styles of albums that are all hand-made and delivered back to the client within 2-4 weeks of signoff.

The Need

The spring and summer wedding season is the company’s busiest time. The company needs to hire 25 or more new employees to handle the workload through these two seasons.

The company website showcases career opportunities and encourages job seekers to email in their resumes. The company also advertises on a few local job boards as well as larger ones like Monster and CareerBuilder. This approach has created a virtual flood of resumes that the company has to process.
