Pre Employment Testing

 

Companies need to understand if a potential applicant meets the requirements of the job before hiring them.

  • Do they have the personality required to sell, manage or lead?
  • Do they like working with people?
  • Will they learn and adapt at the speed required?
  • Will they be a welcomed addition to the group or turn the corporate culture upside down?

Determining this in a few interviews is very difficult because people are trying to get hired.  They will naturally hide their weaknesses and sell their strengths. Most importantly they will say and promise whatever is asked because they need a job!

This is why pre-employment testing is crucial, to guarantee a company makes the right hiring decision.

Pre employment screening allows a company to decrease their risk of hiring a bad employee because it put the focus towards the job. Pre-employment testing is designed to measure a job applicant’s suitability and highlight potential risk areas that need to be reviewed before making a decision.

Prevue offers 3 pre employment assessments used for hiring: General Abilities, Motivation and Interests and overall Personality.  An individual’s scores are mapped against a Job Profile (benchmark) for determining suitability. Once a job candidate completes one of Prevue psychological tests the company will receive hiring reports to conduct interviews and determine individuals Job Fit.
